Voting for our Nonprofit Spotlight organizations took place on Thursday, January 12, 2006, and the following Colorado-based, non-profit organizations were selected for each quarter of 2006. We tithe a donation of $500 to each of the selected organizations to truly be a beacon in the community at large.

The Touch-Ability Project
Our vision is for everyone to be comfortable giving and receiving compassionate touch, which creates intimacy between family and friends and peacefulness in the community. Our mission is to build healthy families and protect children from abuse. We offer comprehensive education for parents, survivors, and treatment providers on touch-related issues, which affect our behaviors and lifelong relationships. Butterfly Hope is an educational enrichment program that provides high quality experiences for children to explore and develop an appreciation of the natural world and express their individual creativity in a caring and supportive environment.
